Fuji hex locking nuts can be installed and removed multiple times. The locking mechanism for this nut is a set of two retaining teeth made of Titanium. The interference between the locking teeth and the threads of the mating bolt prevents loosening during vibration.
The all metal construction is better for higher temperature installations where a nylon-insert lock nut might fail.
